This 1965 Mercedes 300SE Coupe was partially restored thirty years ago and was left unfinished. Originally white with black leather interior, options include an Automatic transmission and sunroof. Body rust and previous floor pan repairs are shown in photos. The exterior trim is very complete with no missing pieces.
Front seats are missing from the car. fully restored fuel tank is included and the original speedometer is included as well.
The M189 six cylinder engine was rebuilt with all genuine Mercedes components years ago and sat on an engine stand waiting to be installed in the car.
Genuine MB pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets & seals were used to rebuild the “long block” while the rest of the engines ancillary components are un-restored. One of the exhaust manifolds is missing along with the complete intake manifold assembly / throttle body. Everything else appears to be there.
