1971 Land Rover Series IIA Cummins Swap
A Customer in New Jersey was impressed with the “Jank Rover” Series IIA Cummins powered beast we built and commissioned his own build using their 1971 Series IIA with long family history. The vehicle was sitting outdoors in the driveway for years with a rusty chassis and little hope of becoming a daily driver again without a lot of help.
We carefully planned out a build that would be functional, reliable and fun without losing the original Land Rover charm and the patina of this truck which has been in the family for many years.
Starting with a new galvanized chassis and R2.8 Crate engine from Cummins, we will mate up a 5-speed R380 Transmission to the original Transfer Box.
Follow along as we build another great Restomod Series Land Rover.

I’ll be watching with great interest.
