Automotion Classics makes dreams come true!
I feel very lucky that I found Automotion Classics. Brett and his team took my long-dormant Romanian-made ARO M461 and, through a powertrain transplant, brought it back to life, making it more reliable than it likely was new in 1969. Now with a Jeep engine, transmission and transfer case, it will serve me for many years to come. Nobody else would take on the project, but Automotion Classics made it happen. Thank you, Brett!
Thank you, Brett!
If you are looking for expert work on the restoration or modification of your classic/collector car, I highly recommend Automotion. Whether you need repair after an accident, restoration for an ageing vehicle, or modification and upgrades, they can assist you in achieving the outcome you are looking for. Their body and paint work are exceptional (thank you Dave). They repair or hunt down NOS parts, mix and perfectly match paint, or restore your current paint, then add a clearcoat making it look new. On top of these services, they offer a many other mechanical, restoration, of modification services. Brett the owner is exceptionally knowledgeable and friendly, he always keeps you informed about what’s going on with your car. I will definitely be going back to Automotion!
A dream come true
Brett has built me my dream car. A 1966 Pontiac GTO. I told Brett that this would take me some time, and he could not have been better at working with me on this project. As the car is now in its final stages, and delivery is coming soon, I can not say enough about the quality of his work and the work of his guys. The guidance on decisions of a custom built car, have been fantastic. I truly am getting my dream car. Thanks Brett and thank you to all your guys.
Original owner of my 1972 BMW 2002
Brett has been helping me to maintain my 1972 Model 2002 in it’s original mint condition. He and his team go far beyond diagnosing and repairing. Why this past Saturday I phoned Brett because I had broken down on the highway. He left his family swim party and showed up with tools to get me going. I thanked him and he said “that’s what I do, you’re my customer” (ps: can you believe I was out of gas, and HE HAD BROUGHT SOME WITH HIM)
If one were to visit his shop they would find autos in varied states of condition from are skeletons and frames for complete restoration to gleaming finished projects ready to be shipped out and out they go to various parts of the country. I feel lucky to have them located so near to where I live.
Superb to work with
Brett and the gang did work on several of my vehicles including one totally custom Land Rover Series 2 build. They did great work. But most importantly, they are great to work with. Lots of shops can fab or do custom builds. But these guys are great to deal with and that is what is rare.
Great Team with Hard to Find Quality Items
I purchased a very rare ZR-1 marine engine from Automotion Classics off of Bring a Trailer and had a great experience. The engine and drive are truly unique and I have been looking for such a combo for years. I must say that Brett and his team are first rate. Brett was very communicative, responsive and got my engine expertly crated and shipment out despite the Polar Vortex bearing down on him. What a great find in the engine and the team!
First Class Car Guys
Mike and Brett had a 1964 Pontiac Catalina Coupe with just about any option a Pontiac Fan could dream up. The car was priced fairly and I purchased it. Mike and Brett extended every courtesy to me, and then some. The car is a knockout and better than described. I appreciate the way they do business, they will continue to have success based on how I was treated. I saw the other testimonials on their site, and wanted to add to what I just read….David
LT-1 Dream Car Restoration
I spent over twenty years looking for one of my “Dream Cars”, a 1970-72 Corvette LT-1 convertible. During that twenty years I spent a good amount of time and money traveling to look at LT-1’s purported to be the “real deal” only to discover they were not. Then came the car you had offered for sale in the Fall of 2016, a “real deal” 1970 Cortez Sliver LT-1 Corvette convertible, bingo! You had properly researched the car and determined it to be a 16,000 mile legitimate car with which upon my personal inspection I agreed. As we were closing the deal you asked me about my intentions for restoration and we discussed my interest in restoring the car to level that would achieve an NCRS Top Flight award, a Bloomington Gold award and a Chevy Vette Fest Gold Spinner Award, the Triple Crown of awards for a Corvette. After discussing my intentions you explained how you would approach the restoration and I was convinced that you were the right shop for the job. Its been a year since we began the restoration and you have been exceptional to partner with on this restoration. I have done several restorations at this level and none have matched your professionalism, pace, patience and craftsmanship. Billings are timely and detailed, communication is regular and keeps me up to date. The services of outside shops is also exceptional and reasonably priced. I am grateful to be working with such a pleasant and skilled shop. A special thanks to Brett for all of your help purchasing the car and Mike who has managed this project as if this was his personal car. I look forward to the next restoration project: my 1968 Plymouth GTX four speed convertible.

Pontiac 2+2 Convertible : Happy Customer
Brett sold me a beautiful 1966 Pontiac 2+2 at a very good price. Brought it back three years later for customization and replacing TH400 with Hurst four speed. Fantastic job and sent mechanics on house calls to correct glitches. VERY knowledgeable and polite. Definitely cares about his customers and takes great pride in his work. I hope to buy another vehicle from AUTOMOTION CLASSICS soon.
