1958 Chevrolet Apache Shortbed Fleetside

1958 Chevrolet Apache Shortbed Fleetside

If you’ve been looking for a vintage truck, you know what’s out there. Beat up, clapped out “rat rods”, masquerading as
classics.

Originally from California, it is incredibly solid. That rear bumper is clearly a “Californication”, and tastefully executed
to boot. (The truck comes with a new, correct roll pan, if you really don’t like it.) All new glass, 5 new wheels and tires, and a new seat cover. Motivation comes through a small block chevy with a turbo 350, and a Lokar shifter. Recently driven 200 plus miles from central NJ on a 90 degree day, at 60 mph up the highway, with not even so much as a hiccup.
Most of the frame and running gear has been cleaned and painted, with little left for you to do. No rust, no scale whatsoever. The box is nearly perfect, with not even a dent in the tailgate. Front fenders have minor rust at the bottoms, but I have the patch panels for them. The headlight area, which is usually the major rust victim, is unscathed. Floors, rockers, etc, are clean and solid as well.
