2004 Ford Mustang Cobra “Terminator” Convertible
This 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra is a factory 390 horsepower, supercharged example equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. This adult-owned car has remained with its original owners since 2004 and shows just 48k miles from new.
The New Edge Mustang Cobras made the first big leap in chassis sophistication for the Mustang in the form of an independent rear suspension system in place of the traditional live axle. Combined with the supercharged 4.6L Modular V8 and 6-speed manual gearbox, this made the final New Edge Cobra second only to the Ford GT in performance among Ford vehicles.
This example is finished in MystiChrome, a color-changing finish Ford introduced on the Mustang for the model’s 40th anniversary. This eye-catching shade was used only on 2004 Mustang Cobras, and cost about $150 per pint at the time. On the Cobra, this eye-catching finish is complimented by matching MystiChrome leather seating surfaces. Just 1,010 MystiChrome Cobras were produced, including 495 convertibles.
This example drives and performs as new, with a powerful V8, slick Tremec 6-Speed manual gearbox, and compliant ride thanks to the Cobra-specific suspension. All features work as they should, including the power top, windows, and interior features.
