1995 Defender 90 SW Restomod
A local collector was impressed with our 97 Soft Top Restomod and decided to commission a build of his own. Since he already owns a couple pristine soft top defenders, he decided to go for the quiet comfort of a hard top. A 95 NAS Station Wagon was sourced as a base for the build.
Drivetrain: The 3.9 will be replaced with a later “GEMS” Style Rover v8, built with CNC ported intake & big-valve cylinder heads, a performance cam & upgraded fuel injection displacing 4.9 liters. This will be backed by a ZF 4-speed automatic transmission.
Exterior: Keswick Green paint over satin black accents. the owner chose the very first set of 20″ Kahn Rostyle wheels available in North America.
Interior: Leather & Alcantara custom interior with upgraded HVAC system and all the creature comforts expected from our builds.
8.16.21 : The restored chassis is being assembled with suspension, axles, steering and fuel system. the rolling chassis will then be transported to our body shop where the panels are ready to install & make this Defender look like a Land Rover again.
