This Handsome 1960 MGA was partially restored in 1997 and was put in storage until we purchased it.

The paint & body work is very presentable. Chrome is mostly new and shines beautifully. The body has had some panel replacement but the work was done well and panel gaps are acceptable.

Chassis is in excellent shape with no signs of repairs. The undercarriage shows a new fuel tank, new stainless exhaust, brake & fuel lines are in good condition etc.

The engine is a 1500 variant which appears to be unrestored but ran when we tested it with some oil, fresh fuel & a battery. Brake & clutch hydraulics were freshly rebuilt in 1996 by a hydraulic shop but the rubber seals have failed and we recommend a rebuild of the braking system again. Original 1600 type steel wheels have old bias ply tires fitted which will need replacement. The right rear wheel is bent but we will include a replacement wheel with the car.

Convertible top is usable but shows age. A pile of new parts is included with the vehicle: headlight trim rings, all new dash knobs, carburetor rebuild kits & air filters, body gaskets and a pair of new unused side curtain assemblies. The original speedometer is included but is currently disassembled.
