This M189 six cylinder engine was rebuilt with all genuine Mercedes components years ago and sat on an engine stand waiting to be installed in the car. The 1965 300SE is long gone but this engine would be a great option for a 300 series owner faced with an expensive rebuild.
Genuine MB pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets & seals were used to rebuild the “long block” while the rest of the engines ancillary components are un-restored. One of the exhaust manifolds is missing along with the complete intake manifold assembly / throttle body. Everything else appears to be there.
