This handsome Euro-spec Mercedes is a 1-owner car since imported in 1983. 107,000 original miles. It has a rust and accident free body that still wears most of it’s original paint. The famous twin-cam inline six engine features fuel injection, and working A/C that has been upgraded with a sanden style compressor. Thankfully, this car retains it’s German-Market features: attractive slim bumpers front & rear, glass headlights with working lamp adjusters and wipers / washers.
Inside the dash is free of cracks and the interior wood is excellent. The original radio works, and all heater / A/C controls function properly. Power windows and a large sunroof are also nice features. The Euro cloth seats are much more fragile than the more common vinyl, but these are in very nice shape. The driver seat bolster does have one spot that has worn through.
There are a few minor paint flaws shown in pictures; most notably the small scuff near the left tail light housing. We can fix these spots if the new owner is so inclined.
Mechanically this Mercedes is excellent. It starts immediately with no smoke, and idles smooth. Suspension and steering are tight, and the brakes are in good working order. I would not hesitate to drive this car long-distance.
Receipts for recent maintenance include 4 new shocks, ball joints, a/c refurbish / charge and an extensive tune-up. Well over $2,000 spent on this.
